One year down

We are one school year down. Michael has completed, successfully :), his first year in his master's program. After many long days of pacing around the apartment and reciting theorems and such, he has taken all his exams and is now getting us ready for our trip. I am beyond proud of his hard work that he has put forth this year. It is amazing to see his commitment and endurance in studying. As for me, I have finished teaching all my lessons for the year! Just on to review and tests from this point on. I cannot believe that I have basically taught an entire year of school. It seems like we just got here...kinda. The Lord has provided this year beyond our belief. It feels crazy to think that we have almost been married a year and lived in Texas the whole time, but every experience has been completely God ordained. We are so thankful for His faithfulness to us.
Our office has turned into camping central where we have all our camping and road trip stuff getting ready to go. At one point we even had the tent set up! We have booked all our campsites except for the Redwoods because we are going to try to arrive early and get a spot on the beach! We can't wait to see many of you very soon! Enjoy the pics below.

At the Astros game with our friends the Schornicks!
Two of my new favorite shrimp dishes!
Shrimp fried rice. So easy and yummy!

A shrimp salad with walnuts, strawberries and a vinegarette!
And of course we found ourselves in an arcade room in a serious competition of basketball!
I won!
