We are having...

Yep, that is right.  Another beautiful, awesome little girl.   Miss Laine Claire and we couldn't be any more excited.  I know that I have been terrible at blogging lately, but I'm working on something! Woohoo!  It may be long or I may choose to split it up, I have not decided.  I am working on writing my birth story with El. I know what you are thinking... that it is long overdue and yes, we kinda put a short something right after she was born, but I've struggled with how the whole thing went down and I finally feel like I am at a good place in terms of the whole thing to really talk about my thoughts.  It has taken me to this point to have a clear head...so I'm going to put it all out there.  Mainly for myself though of course you will be more than welcome to read it :) and hopefully, there is a single person out there that can read it, be encouraged, and possibly help another momma out!   Maybe, we will just start tomorrow ;).

Guess What???

Yep, that is right!!!  We are welcoming another blessing into our home and we cannot wait!  The doctor says the due date is the 25th (based upon that chart!) but based on the ultrasound and what I think ;)...we are going with the 27th.  Fortunately, I am feeling much better than last pregnancy.  I am thankful for getting my gallbladder out when I did.  Of course, I am still having some nausea and vomiting, but there is not the intensity and pain like last time.  Praise the Lord!!!   We could not be happier and more thankful for God's timing in this entire situation.

Just a little Halloween fun

It is official...this was the best Halloween yet.  Being a mom on Halloween is the best!  Here are some pictures of my little owl cutie :)  And yes, I totally made this costume and I LOVED it.  I got the idea from here.  It cost about $7 and a Thursday night of my favorite NBC shows.  Not too shabby :).

whooo whooo...

She totally got into it which was the best part.  She would run to each house...say knock know then trick or treat...then she normally would turn around and leave before anyone came to the door, but I guess that is what we were for and of course, collecting these fun "wrappers" was the best part.

Our little cow bell

Yes it is that time again!  Cow appreciation day!!!  And yes, this year I convinced my entire family to wake up before 8 and go to Chick Fil A dressed as cows!  It was wonderful.  We were at the beach this year, but you know that didn't stop me.  (I'll post more beach pictures later.  Yes there is a pink polka dot bikini involved!)  I did mix up E's outfit just a tad and I think it turned out pretty awesome with a whole herd following her around.  What do you think?

This is what we looked like coming into the store...notice the bells on her shoes. :)

And this is how we looked in the restaurant...loving the newspaper reading going on.

My Little Herd
And no, we don't just do this for the free food, even though that doesn't hurt, but we do it for the family memories.  It is fun, it is free, and you are guaranteed to laugh!  So I secretly love it!

Summer Heat can't stop us

This past weekend, Michael's parents came to visit.  It was a nice relaxing weekend...o except for the 100 degree weather!  What is that about Chattanooga?  I mean we moved from Texas for a reason :).
Breakfast at Aretha Frankenstein...seriously best brunch place in town!

First carousel ride with Dada...guess who said daddy for the first time this weekend!

There is always a new place to play in this town!  Just love it!  No bathing suit, no problem.

Getting dressed!  Can you tell we had fun!

This was taken at 9:30 and we were already about to pass out.
Have a great week everyone!

Happy 4th!

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July.  We had a relaxing day as a family...nothing special but sometimes those are the best :).
